The Old Gaffers Association (OGA) was formed in the United Kingdom in 1963 and today has members and local areas throughout the world including Canada.
The aims of the Old Gaffers Association are to preserve interest in and encourage development of the Gaff Rig and other traditional rigs, and to participate in the maintenance of our Maritime Heritage. Membership of the Association is open to all who are interested in sailing, building; restoring or simply admiring gaff rigged and other traditionally rigged craft. There is no requirement for members to be boat owners.
Locally, the Association meets bi-monthly in the Vancouver area and holds a variety of social activities throughout the year, including sailing events, BBQs and a Christmas party.
We invite you to join the Old Gaffers Association - British Columbia Canada area. Local membership is free; to join simply Sign Up at the right of this page.
